We strive to be a good neighbor in everything we do, from keeping our stores and parking lots clean and tidy to scheduling our deliveries to minimize noise and disruption. We recruit our staff from the local area, donate to local charities, help schools raise money, and work hard to be a friend to the environment.
Shop for Schools.
We know how important schools are to the neighborhood and how budgets continue to be cut, so we created a fundraising program called Shop for Schools to help. Local schools can earn $1 for every $20 spent at fresh&easy each fall. Since 2009, more than $6.1 million has been donated to schools to use for whatever they need most!
Giving back to the neighborhood is important to us. Every time we open a new store, we make a $1,000 donation to a local charity based on nominations from our new neighbors. Each store donates weekly to a local food bank and every month all our stores donate products to local nonprofit groups.
Why do we do all this? Because we're your neighborhood market and that's simply what a good neighbor should do.
