what's in a (fresh&easy) store

Retail brands are about stores.

What people will think about fresh&easy will not be driven by fancy advertising or hollow promises, but by their experience of shopping in their local store.

So I was delighted last week to visit a number of our sites under construction, including this one in Las Vegas.

Ok, it's a converted space rather than our prototype store, which means we can only build in some of the energy saving initiatives. But we're making sure it'll still be a fresh&easy shop, as well as a good neighbor and a great place to work.

And that's how we're setting about building fresh&easy as a brand...store by store.

Hi Simon,
I first read about the Freah & Easy stores in a recent addition of the Economist. I am impressed with what I have read about your buisness model and think that it will become very successful. I will be in the Phoenix area at the end of July and would like to visit some of your new sites. Where would I find a list of your new stores?

Is this really a blog or just another corporate sales pitch aimed at making your business seem open, honest and approachable? it all seems to be edited by some ad agency copy writer. Blogs are meant to be perosnal and about your views on everyday life not just selling your business. More a 'Clog' (commercial log) than a blog.

I am curious if you will be selling gluten free products or lactose free products. You are opening a store in my neighborhood, Oak Park. Currently I shop at Trader Joe's and would be glad to switch if you carry these products.

It seems Gluten Free products as well as products of the highest quality are all the rage. Will you carry such products as Arctic Zero frozen dessert at your new locations?
