i live in las vegas and there's a f&e opening only a little ways from my apartment. in fact here in my bedroom i can see the back of it right over the wall separating it from my apartment complex.

i'm very excited about the opening. my 4-year old niece and i watched the video (she's a foodie) and she's thrilled that we're getting a new store. the health-conscious offerings have prompted us to decide to be more healthful so we're going to shop each day for the day's meals, so that's a walk (i have to go around and through the complex to get there, can't just hop the wall!) and a chance daily to try something new.

i wish you the best of luck what with the wal-mart neighborhood market across the street, i've never been a huge fan of the oversaturation. i'd much rather shop for something that is fresh and that i know will save me time (especially reading the food labels) and money.

good show, tesco, and i can't wait to get in there and go shopping!

I have been reading about 'Fresh and Easy' in the FT many times.

I just wrote about your stores and blog on Serge the Concierge.

Could you tell me about your wine selection?

One suggestion regarding 'Talking Fresh', drop the TM sign, it is too corporate and contradicts the image that you are trying to establish.

Have a great day

We drove to our Hemet store today as I heard a rumor they had a soft opening...

We loved it! Great selection, good prices, good service. Got to sample the pizza and mac and cheese, both of which were great.

As a father of 3 with a working spouse I have to say that quality prepared meals at affordable prices sounds good.
Guess we will have to wait for our turn here in Plainview, New York.

seems like an decent alternative to trader joes or whole foods, also looks cleaner than the predecessor albertons, good job at cleaning up the property, wonder what the bird ave. stor ein san jose ca will look like when it opens as it was a ran down horirbel albertsons built in the 1950s as alpha beta

My heart raced as I approached the parking lot to the Fresh & Easy in Hemet... I have been waiting for this market idea to hit for months and months. Been to most of the Henry's, Whole Foods, Traders. The Hemet store was exciting to finally enter...and I came from 25 miles away. I don’t work in the grocery industry {yet} but this small concept has sparked my intrigue. The produce was neat and tidy and well priced. The F & E brand was everywhere; simple and clean packaged, cost effective next to some name brands, but most of all was not a second rate product. I purchased brownies, granola, some ready-to-eat pasta products, a bottle of nice dressing, some great pizzas from the fresh sections and all in their name brand just to test. Well done is all my family could say, and they know how long I have been waiting for this market. We can’t wait to see them in Murrieta.

Haven't seen your stores in person yet, but the sharp graphics on the food packaging and clean store layout in the video reminds me of the style of Marks and Spencer food in the UK.

One test for me: if your breads are as good as in the UK--which means whole grain breads that are crusty, not mushy. I'll see when your Agoura store opens.

I live in Santa Rosa, California, in the heart of Sonoma County. I'm sad that you're not coming out here. I'd love to have another alternative to Whole Foods (which is currently pretty small out here). The new Whole Foods will be bigger, and there is Olivers, which is also really good. My husband is BRITISH and I would hope that you would also carry some British foods in it too. Any chance that you'll come to Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park or Windsor, California? And a huge store would be an absolute bonus!
