Locate your store and keep an eye on it. Once confirmed, we’ll display the grand opening date… We’ll also hang a huge banner outside the store and send reminders through Twitter to make sure everyone is looped in...

i was wondering is the store openings in San Francisco still on track to open?
I love doing my groceries at Fresh and Easy - the staff at Centennial and Commerce in North Las Vegas NV are super friendly and awesome. This week I got Cashew Butter and your whole wheat bread with grains and I just love it. I'm coming back to get some brown bags and maybe even Almond Butter and start packing lunch. It'll save me 25$ a week.

We love Fresh and Easy in Buena Park, California. I work at a school and all the kids..love Fresh and Easy the truth they say its there favorite grocery store.. I hear the elementary kids talk about it much more than the adults jaja..really! I know i love the store..but again i won't talk about a store at school!! but its amazing how much the kids love it..everything about it..whoever came up with this grocery store!! congrad's..we love the food,people,employees,and the way we can bag and scan our own groceries its the perfect store!!
I am curious on when the stores will be opening. I would like to apply but it doesn't show any recruitment dates for the willow glen area.

One question: Many of your customers rely on the products and on the Nutritional Information, but...just bought the 3 pack of apples from CMI (Columbia Marketing International), Wenatchee WA, and it states 5 grams of fiber in each medium apple. This is misleading, as most sources list fiber in a medium apple at 3.3 to 3.5 grams.
This is important for those of us who are read labels, and it is a poor reflection on fresh & easy. Please verify, and ask your providers to provide accurate information on the package.
Finally, COLUMBIA? The apples are distributed by a company in Washington state. Are they Washington apples or do they come from Columbia? I realize that if they are grown in Columbia your cost may be lower, BUT, I didn't realize they might not be Washington apples until I did further research. Everything on the package makes it look like they are Washington apples.

Great questions! You’ll be glad to know we’ve passed your comment along to our supplier. They actually label their products according to their own best practices, so thanks! The feedback will be helpful! Now, about the fiber… The USDA allows distributors to use their national database of nutrition values and fiber content declaration based on the size of the apple. The most recent USDA updated value allows for 5.8 grams of fiber per 242g of apple. The other options for fiber content are 3.6-4.4 g per 149-182g apple. Hopefully that’s helpful… In the end, distributors may choose their representative values.
Regarding the country of origin, under a recently passed labeling act, distributors can list a growing region. In this case, the growing region is Columbia Valley of Washington state; not the country of Colombia.
I know it’s a rather technical response, but given your enthusiasm on reading labels, I wanted to make sure your question was answered…

I think you should sell "Fresh and Easy" tees, they are great. I think they would be a goldmine in sales revenue.
