Back-to-School at fresh&easy

It’s that time of year again – the back-to-school rush is here. While parents are busy filling backpacks with supplies, they are also packing those lunchboxes with meals and snacks that will take their kids through the day. It is a challenge that all parents face to pack lunches they feel good about but will also be eaten and not “traded” away to friends and classmates. But who says it has to be complicated?

We just launched our new line of fresh&easy Goodness Snack Trays. They contain nitrate-free ham or turkey, real cheddar cheese (not processed) and organic wheat crackers for just $2.49 a pack. They taste great and they’re made with ingredients you can trust…

What are your tried and true tips on making fun and healthy lunches and snacks for your family (and for yourself)?

Ooh. Yummy! I used to have the brand-name pack for lunch but felt so guilty about how unhealthy it is. This, however, might work out well.

Maybe there would be an adult pack? You know, same as above plus some fruit?

I just bought these great looking snack trays!!!! I'd been tellign everyone for a few months that I thouht a more natural alternative for a cheese and cracker snack tray was a no brainer. Now if I could just get my son's organic Similac formula there this could be my one stop shop grocery store!!!!!

Love these! My girls love cheese and crackers, but I hate the processed meats and cheeses in the 'other' lunch packs.

P/S Just did a Fresh & Easy run a few hours ago, and am now a huge fan of the Maple & Pecan granola (among other things.)

These are a good start. However, the crackers in the turkey and cheese have invert sugar- which I guess is basically the same as HFCS, (high fructose corn syrup). Again, better than the competitors stuff- but I still don't feel good about giving this to my daughter for lunch every day. Also- one of the main reasons I don;t buy the competitor's stuff- number 7, (BPA) plastic. On this packaging from fresh n easy- it doesn't even say what number/type of plastic it is? I even went to the manufacturer of the containers web site- no information on the type of plastic either. Anyone out there know- I guess I will have to call fresh n easy.
