Tis the season for giving back
Posted on
If you're trying to think of a way to help out your neighbors
this holiday season, we've got you covered. Starting today
through Dec. 31st, our stores will be collecting canned and boxed
goods through our Holiday Food Drive. All food collected will
be donated to local food banks and charities to help fight hunger
this holiday season.

Food Banks need donations year-round, which is why all our
stores donate products on a weekly basis. We're honored to
support some amazing organizations, like Three Square Food Bank in
Nevada, St. Mary's Food
Bank Alliance in Arizona, the Los Angeles Regional Food
Bank, and several regional Second Harvest/Feeding America
Food Bank locations throughout California. Hunger is
unfortunately a persistent problem many of our neighbors struggle
with, which is why we're so happy to be joining forces with our
customers to help even more this holiday season.
The LA Regional Food Bank told us the most popular items include
pasta and sauce, rice, canned fruit, canned tuna, chicken and
salmon, peanut butter, hot and cold cereals, and juice boxes.
Baby formula, baby food and cereal are also needed. So next time
you're in your fresh&easy store, donate one of these or any
other non-perishable food item (maybe even some boxed
stuffing, boxed mashed potatoes or canned cranberry sauce
for Thanksgiving!) to help make the holidays brighter for
those in need.
Happy holidays!
