  • Entry-level positions start at $10/hour

  • Employees are eligible to work at least 20 hours per week which entitles them and their families to affordable, comprehensive healthcare (including medical, dental, prescription, vision)

A Good Neighbor

  • We are considerate to our neighbors and aim to reduce our impact on the environment
  • We recycle or reuse all our display and shipping materials and offer in-store recycling for customers and employees
  • Our trucks are designed to significantly reduce noise and do not drive through school zones during student drop-off and pick-up times, and deliveries are only permitted during designated hours to be considerate of our neighbors
  • Each store has a budget to make product donations to the neighborhood, and at each store opening we donate $1,000 to a local nonprofit organization based off of nominations from neighbors
  • Our Shop for Schools program gives back to K-8th grade schools. Since 2009, over $4 million has been donated to schools to use for whatever they need most
  • We have made it a priority to reduce our impact on the environment wherever possible, including our green buildings:
  • On average, our stores use 30% less energy than a typical supermarket
  • We invested in one of the world's largest roof-mounted solar installations at our Riverside distribution center. We also added roof-mounted solar systems on 11 stores last year
  • We have the most currently certified stores in the nation through the EPA's GreenChill refrigeration leak reduction program
